Return & Warranty Policy

You have the right to withdraw from the sale contract with Dynamic Brain Lab LLC (the “Seller” or “DBL”) for any reason and without incurring any penalty within ten (8) days from the date on which you received the Products purchased from https://dynamicbrainlab.com (the ”Website”)

You can exercise your right to return using one of the following methods:

  • Email the Seller customer care at return@dynamicbrainlab.com
  • Send to the Seller an explicit, written communication concerning the decision to withdraw from the agreement, supplying your personal details (such as name, surname, address and email) the date on which the Products were ordered and when they were received, the order number and the relative Products purchased.

In instance, your declaration must be addressed to the registered office of the Seller. In such instance, you will be responsible for proving that you exercised your right to withdraw from the sale contract correctly and within the specified time frame.

  • The products to be returned must be handed over to the courier within fifteen (15) days of the date you received the products purchased on glucoscanner.com.
  • The right to return is excluded in the event that you purchased were not opened after delivery.

Conditions for exercising the right to withdraw.

The right to withdraw from the sale contract shall be deemed correctly exercised if the following conditions have been fully met: 

  1. The right to withdraw has been correctly exercised within ten (8) days of receiving the products following the procedures set out above
  2. The products have not been used.
  3. The identification tag with the disposable seal is still attached to the products as it constitutes an integral part of the product.
  4. The products are returned with their original packaging.
  5. The products are handed over to the courier within thirty (30) days of the date you received the products purchased on glucoscanner.com
  6. The products are not damaged.

If you have complied with the relevant conditions, the Seller will reimburse the price of the products purchased.

Compliance checks for returned products.

You will be notified if the returned products cannot be accepted because they are not compliant with the conditions indicated above. In the event that your return does not comply with the return policy, you can choose, at your own expense, to have the products returned to you. In the event of the latter, should you refuse this shipment, the Seller reserves the right to retain both the products and the amount specified for the decreased refund owing to the decrease in value of the returned products.

The Seller does not assume any responsibility for items returned by mistake or items not related to the return left in the packaging or in the returned items.

Refund times and procedure.

Once the Seller has received the returned products and checked all requirements have been met, you will receive an e-mail confirming that the return has been accepted and DBL will proceed with a full refund, or, if the products are found to have decreased in value, you will receive an e-mail informing you of the amount deducted from the refund and DBL will proceed with the refund of the remaining amount.

Whatever the form of payment used, the Seller will process the refund as quickly as possible and, in any case, within thirty (30) days from the date it was informed of your decision to exercise your right to return, and once it has checked that the return was carried out in compliance with the above conditions. 
The time period for refunding the amount paid for purchasing the returned products depends on the form of payment used:

Purchase by credit/debit card: refund time will depend on the card company.

Payment by PayPal (if available): refunds will be credited to your PayPal account and will be visible within 24 hours from the receipt of the refund confirmation e-mail. The actual reimbursement of the credit card associated with your PayPal account will depend on the company that issued the card.

Payment made by cash on delivery (if available): we will refund to the bank account indicated by you, so the time taken for the refund will depend on the accuracy of the information provided by you; the refund will usually take fourteen (14) days.

Items returned because they are damaged, defective or incorrect.

Without prejudice to the application of mandatory consumer protection provisions, if you are returning a product because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, please notify AlphaTech within thirty (30) days of receipt by email at return@dynamicbrainlab.com; if a product becomes faulty after the thirty (30) days please contact Customer Care to obtain further returns information. You must return the products in the same condition in which you received them. For returning the products please see section above. DBL will examine the products returned as damaged or defective and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. Subject to acceptance by DBL of the damaged or defective goods, products returned by you because they are damaged or defective will be refunded in full, including the cost of delivery for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to DBL. In the event that DBL find no fault with the returned products, you will be notified that the returned products cannot be accepted and you may elect to have the products re-delivered to you. If you do not accept re-delivery DBL reserves the right to retain the products and the purchase price and recover DBL’s fees and expenses

Identification Tag.

We remind you that all products sold by DBL include an identification barcode and seal attached which is an integral part of the product. The products returned without the barcode and seal will not be accepted. 

Consumer Code.

These conditions for exercising the right to withdraw from the sale contract are an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and are governed by the laws of Japan

Manufacturer`s Warranty

DBL shall grant the end consumer (“Users”) the DBL Manufactures warranty for a period of one year in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth below for the Glucoscanner sensor clip (“Product”) supplied to the end Users under the Glucoscanner brand.

The Users means any person that has purchased the Product and does not intend to resell it.

Warranty Services

Guarantee services warrants that product under the Glucoscanner brand that were manufactured for DBL shall be free and clear of material, manufacturing, design and functional defects. In assessing whether a product is defective, the technical standard as at the date of manufacture of the Product shall be used as a basis.

Warranty Period

The DBL Manufacturer’s Guarantee shall apply for a period of one year commencing from the date of purchase of the AlphaTech product by the end Users.

Warranty Prerequisites

A prerequisite for a warranty claim shall be the submission of the original invoice with the purchase date, which must clearly indicate the name and address of the Seller and the place of purchase. Moreover, claims under this warranty shall vest only if the product is properly used. Moreover, in order to claim the DBL Manufacturer’s Warranty the product must be duly and properly cleaned and cared for in accordance with the DBL care instructions.

Upon the delivery of the Product you shall immediately verify the quality of the Product. In case of defect you shall within no more than (8) calendar day from the receipt of the Product contest the quality of the Product by means of written communication specifying the type and number of defect and make the contested Product available to us for the inspection.

The relevant inspection will be completed by us within 30 calendar day from the receipt at the above-mentioned written notice. The expiry of such term without any reply to you has not to be considered as approved and accepted by us of the contested defects.

In case the contested defects are accepted by us at its own expense by, at DBL discretion, way of repair or delivery of new product. Repair or replacement shall, at DBL discretion, be performed either by a qualified specialist fitter or a DBL service employee. A defective product shall be exchanged by way of free delivery of a new product of the same type and same quality. Should the defective product no longer be manufactured at the time of the guarantee event, DBL may deliver a similar product of the same or greater value. Following the replacement, title of the defective product shall pass to DBL.  DBL shall assume the costs for any transport of the product in one direction.

Exclusion of the Warranty

Claims may not be asserted under the warranty:

  1. if the defect is attributable to incorrect use or incorrect handling of the product;
  2. if the defect occurs due to missing or incorrect maintenance;
  3. if spare parts other than original DBL spare parts are used during repairs or maintenance of the product;
  4. if the defect was caused by transport, or any trial operation of the product;
  5. if the surface of the product has been scratched;
  6. if the defect was caused by a breakage of fragile parts (e.g. light bulbs);
  7. if the defect occurs due to aggressive environmental influences (e.g. chemicals and cleaning agents), limescale or disruptions due to ice and/or lime;
  8. if the defect is caused by specific environmental circumstances (e.g. excess or negative pressure, excess voltage or under voltage); or
  9. if the defect is attributable to willful or negligent damage to the product by the end consumer or a third party.

DBL will review in each specific case whether the warranty prerequisites have been met and whether there are any grounds for exclusion. Should warranty claims be asserted and should it emerge during an inspection of the product by DBL that there was no defect or there is no warranty claim for one of the aforementioned reasons, DBL may charge a service fee unless the end Users proves that they could not have ascertained based on the circumstances that there was no warranty claim.

Miscellaneous

This warranty shall apply in the foregoing scope and subject to the foregoing prerequisites (including submission of proof of purchase even in the event of resale) for each future owner of the product.

This warranty shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
